Sturdy and well design. It really helps expand your terrain.
Just an incredible design. Nothing quite like it elsewhere in the tabletop terrain industry. A very impressive centrepiece that is surprisingly very easy to assemble given its scale.
The main thing to note is that this thick MDF is softer and heavier than the thinner stuff used by the likes of Micro Art Studio, so a bit of care needs to be taken when handling the pieces, as their weight means that corners can struggle if you put all the stress on that point. I snapped one corner of the base due to my handling, but it was an easy fix with superglue. Once all assembled its a very durable kit, just take care during assembly.
Overall, this is just the coolest terrain kit I've ever put together and it was an absolute joy to paint. I added some plasicard and filler to hide the joins and add some extra details, which just added to the modelling exprience. Lots of people think at first glance that the model is a picture of a real building which is testament to the realism of the design!
Thanks so much Iain! I hope your infantry have successful firefights from the staircase (I've found when playing infinity, this kit is usually an important location and sees lots of actions in my own games!)
Your paintjob look great too. Glad you were able to fix the small breakage.
Enjoy your games, Ryan
This grubbins set is great! There is a good assortment of ducts, conduits and panels that are perfect for adding some interest to bare walls.
The entire brutal cities line of models are very well thought out and designed to give the exact impression of concrete brutalism. This model is no different and it allows for enough detail and unexplained design to make all who gaze upon it wonder "why was it built this way???"
The medium ducting grubbins provide a good set of ductwork for detailing MDF buildings. They’re a reasonable size to represent ducts on 28mm sized buildings and the set has enough curves and other pieces to detail several mid-sized structures.
6mm printed well on FDM no issues. Keen to try the 28mm version once the files are uploaded.
This kit serves as an superb base for terrain. It's well designed and looks good on its own, but has enough space to add debris, grime, and other customisations without becoming too clustered too fast.
It could use a set of printable instructions to make life easier, though.
Thanks Hamish! Could you not find the video instructions? Or do you just prefer PDFs?
Glad you like the terrain! Have you painted and played on it now?
Awesome print. Scaled down well for 6mm. Fits well around scud missile TeLs and other soviet inspired terrain
This is my second one, I like how it holds quite a few paints while not having a large footprint.
Super easy process printing at .1 however make sure to keep that base layer a bit thicker (.2 ish).
Otherwise fun and easy to put together and just a great time, can't wait to print more
Was looking for decals for a cyberpunk project, found this company after an online search. Seemed to be exactly what I needed. Ordered the set, it was dispatched quickly and I was very happy with what I received. I have no complaints about the company or the product. 10/10 would be happy to order from them again.
Didn't purchase it. the seller had promised to add images of the actual product back in 2023 still hasn't done so
Sorry Dirk, I should have by now. I don't have any unwrapped but I got a picture of it at least now!
They're so easy to build and sturdy allowing for multiple combinations to satisfy the theme for your table. Assembly was easy and intuitive with parts popping easily off the sprue; little if any clean up required.
Keep coming back to these kits, they're so relaxing to build and makes setting up and tear down of tables quick and easy.
This the is second set purchased; and it just makes a megacity/cyberpunk table look complete. Assembly was easy and intuitive with parts popping easily off the sprue; little if any clean up required.
Combining multiple set allows for variety on the table top.
For when your Bruteopolis plaza needs more height!
Assembly was easy and intuitive with parts popping easily off the sprue; little if any clean up required.
This the is second tower in the terrain collection; and it just makes a megacity/cyberpunk table look complete. Assembly was easy and intuitive with parts popping easily off the sprue; little if any clean up required.
A worthy addition to any table top!
Appreciate the review Stu! Hope you've been enjoying your games on it,
Ryan
I purchased several because I wanted to use them in different times/periods. This is great for sci-fi, of course and post-apocalyptic settings, but thinking it one will be great for Pulp too. The way it's designed, it can be mobile, like on the back of a truck or technician, as well as on a ship (container ship comes to mind) and space settings.
