FAQ
I live in the EU/UK - What are tax/customs like?
UPDATE 09/08/2024 -
Brutal Cities is NOT fulfilling to the UK / EU : IOSS tax is managed via an app, which I have just found out is functioning at the moment.
Prices will update in your checkout based on amount in your cart - If you are over the respective UK and EU VAT thresholds we will not collect tax and the prices we show will be less - customs/post service will charge tax instead.
UK: For all orders up to £135 Brutal Cities will collect 20% VAT for the UK Government
EU: Brutal Cities is IOSS registered. This means that we will collect and pay VAT on order under 150 EUR. You will still need to pay EU customs VAT for all orders over 150 EUR.
How long does shipping take?
Updated 01/09/2024
Away 5th-15th June for an event and a wedding - Orders shall be processed after the 15th June - Thanks for your patience!
I now work 4 days at an architectural model making business. That will leave a bit of the weekend and one day a week for Brutal Cities work for any remaining stock - so when I release the last of the stock it will likely take longer than usual as I'm no longer fulfilling from a warehouse, but my home. But, I won't have to make the stock so I'm not sure exactly. Regardless, I will ship as soon as I can.
Generally shipping (not fulfillment) takes up to 7 business days in Australia and approx 30 worldwide. See full policy.
What happens if a product/part arrives damaged?
Send me a photo of the damaged part or product at ryan@brutalcities.com and I'll ship out a replacement to you ASAP.
Do you give refunds?
If there are any issues with your products we will send out a replacement or we can refund you after the products are returned to us. We don't offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Read our full policy.
Does Brutal Cities have a distributor in my country?
No sorry! This is something we're looking into but for now Brutal Cities doesn't have any international distributors.
First Time buyer
First off, Ryan is great, I had issues with my order that he readily assisted in resolving so that's awesome. Second, and more importantly, the terrain itself is beautiful, even unpainted it looks magnificent. I haven't painted most of the buildings and yet nearly every Friday at my local Wargame store people come up and ask about the terrain. It goes together easily and intuitively, it is not hard at all to assemble, I didn't need to go online to find the instructions. The only issues I've had is not having enough room to store all the buildings and not being able to stack them properly. I'm sure the latter part is my own fault. Overall, great experience, great product, I will be buying again at some point.
Brutal Cities
Thanks for that Bruce, really appreciate the view and always happy to resolve any issues that might come up!
Amazing product
These buildings are amazing, they look great on the table and are completely modular. Some of the best SciFi scenery I have and super versatile. 10/10 would recommend for infinity and 40k
Brutal Cities
Really appreciate the review Allan! Have some great games!
Great Tournament Table
These kits were easy to build and went together fairly quickly. The MDF itself is of good quality and is not easily broken. The builds fit together once built well, though some are a little tighter than others. I do recommend a heavy dose of varnish to keep that paint on.
Brutal Cities
Yep we always use high-quality MDF and make sure the kits aren't too complicated. In any case there are instructions to help out!
