I finished mine using permanent markers! I base-coated, using metallic silver paint pens. I followed that with stippling, in ultra-fine point brown, then red, then orange, then yellow. Finally, I lacquered the MDF parts. Attaching the acrylic 'lights' with PVA was easy, as everything fit, perfectly. I'll be adding these to a building I'm working on, and countless others. HIGHLY-recommended! I plan to order MORE!
