Hello everyone! I hope you're all well and have had plenty of hobby time.
We've got a tutorial video for you to try out oil paints. We will be uploading another tutorial in the coming weeks after we release the next wave of kits (both a step by step tutorial on this blog and a youtube video)
Also we still have some CDC Covid 19 fundraiser kits available - the profits are donated to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy Covid-19 fund to help the especially vulnerable in our communities.
Things you'll need:
- Artists oil paints - any brand should do
- Odourless solvent or artists white spirit (Don't use white spirit from hardware stores, it's not refined enough)
- Gloss varnish - you can airbrush this on or use a rattle can. I used a rustoleum gloss varnish
- Satin varnish (this is a personal preference thing, I wanted the objective to retain some sheen)
Also if you haven't subscribed to the email list please do - It will help you avoid Zucc's algorithms so you don't miss out on new content - and we don't send emails often!
