How to weather terrain with oil paints and pin washes tutorial

Hello everyone! I hope you're all well and have had plenty of hobby time.

We've got a tutorial video for you to try out oil paints. We've got another useful tutorial about painting concrete wargaming terrain without an airbrush to get you started!

Also we still have some CDC Covid 19 fundraiser kits available - the profits are donated to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy Covid-19 fund to help the especially vulnerable in our communities.

Things you'll need:

  • Artists oil paints - any brand should do
  • Odourless solvent or artists white spirit (Don't use white spirit from hardware stores, it's not refined enough)
  • Gloss varnish - you can airbrush this on or use a rattle can. I used a rustoleum gloss varnish
  • Satin varnish (this is a personal preference thing, I wanted the objective to retain some sheen)

If you want to take your weathering even further then we've got a bunch of Ammo Paints weathering products to make it even simpler.

Also if you haven't subscribed to the email list please do - you'll be the first to get new terrain tutorials, sales and giveaways!
